Pull out your loaf pans and tie on your aprons -- it’s time for our ultimate quick bread challenge. What makes your signature quick bread special? Does it feature luscious pumpkin or garden-fresh zucchini? Or perhaps it’s filled with ripe berries. Whatever your prized original recipe is, we can’t wait to see it! The prize: $250. But remember, photos must be of the actual recipe submitted and recipe must be original; entries that don’t follow these guidelines are ineligible to win.

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
