I'm a nurse by profession and a cook and baker by nature. My paternal grandmother started teaching me to cook/bake when I was 7. I'm now sneaking up on 60 and still love it. Have a 30 y/o son and 25 & 33 y/o stepdaughters. The two younger ones love to come home and help me bake cookies for Christmas (The oldest lives in Pitts, Pa). My husband enjoys cooking too and takes over the kitchen once or twice a week (if I'm willing to give it up)! lol
