About NanasOven

I love to bake!! I have 3 lovely children and 4 fantastic grandchildren. My husband of 48 years and I live in a log house on a dirt road with neighbors who have migrated to the south. I grow a large garden and can and freeze food for my family and extra for neighbors. We are a close knit family who enjoy being together and food is always a part of our get-togethers. I love new recipes (I get tired of cooking the same old things), so finding this site has been great.

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
