I've been cooking since I was 12 years old. I even remember the first thing I ever made.... a meatloaf! It's was pretty much love at first try! I love to cook, and bake, and I do a lot of it. My husband, 3 grown sons, and 4 grandbabies all seem to appreciate my efforts, so there is a lot of satisfaction there. I come from a large family - 7 girls, 1 boy - and we all have different ways of running our kitchens. But I do have to say.....we girls are ALL cooking fools! Whenever we get together, it's an eating good time!

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
