I have been a vegetarian for nearly 13 years. I prepare a number of vegan dishes each week, but I am a Wisconsin native, so trying to wean myself off real dairy (cheese! sour cream! ice cream!) has proven extremely difficult. Besides cooking and baking, I also LOVE to can. Other interests: Hanging out with husband of 11-1/2 years and our four Ragdoll cats, shoe shopping, and practicing yoga.
