Hello to All, I have been with mixingbowl for a few weeks and can't believe how great everyone is,such a great site for food & friends. I just turned 50 years old (the big one) But I still think im 20 mentally..LOL I am single and a mother of a 14 year old son,Giovanni Gino for short, Oh yes Im Italian from New York A Native New Yorker,In my teen years and early twenties I lived and went to school in Miami,Florida,where I was owner & Chef of a small Italian restaurant for most of my twenties,I eventually sold my restaurant and moved back to New York ASAP I missed being home in NYC. For about a year I lived in Stroudsberg,Pennsylvania with my former (now ex-husband) I missed home (NYC) way to much a city girl living in a VERY rural-woodsy area was not making me happy My ex-husband gave me a very good reason for leaving PA I took the opportunity to come back to New York and have never looked back Happier than I have ever been in my whole life. I have peace of mind and independence, and love raising my son to be a smart,descent man. I work for a company that designs fruit bouquets into floral arragements,I am mostly in charge of the customer service center but every now and than I do create some of the baskets especially around the holidays when there are hundreds to be made.
