Dish Towel Exchange!

Hi Everyone,

Raven had the wonderful idea to do an Apron Exchange which was a huge hit! I think we all have loved being a part of it! I know I'm really excited to have sent out my apron, and to be getting one! I always love getting packages! A few people had started talking about doing a Dish Towel Exchange. I think now would be the perfect time to do that with the Holidays coming up. We could all use a nice new set of Dish Towels. So that is what I'm starting here. Please let me know if you would like to be a part of it. I'll do it the very same way we did the Apron Exchange. You will have two weeks from today till Nov. 5th to get your name in for the exchange. On Nov. 5th I will then pair everybody up! Rules are it has to be new, can be handmade as well. Just not anything that has ever been used before. Also, since it's Dish Towels the price limit for this is $10.00. I think you can find a nice set of Dish Towels for that price or less. I want to keep this affordable so everybody can have fun with it. Once I post the names please exchange addresses and mail your Dish Towels out within 3 weeks. If you have any questions or would like to join in the Exchange please let me know! Looking forward to another fun gift exchange.

The deadline for the Dish Towel exchange has pased but gramaKaren you are more than welcome to be partners with puddin!! Just let me know if that's what you decide to do! Have a wonderful day! =)

Can you do some type of feedback here? For those who take advantage of others in these exchanges. That is what I think would be very useful here.

I know I am partnered with Championbaker BUT have misplaced her snail addy. Help hope you are reading this Championbaker. I have printed out some recipes for you too.

Cabernay, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with the Apron Exchange! I only hosted the Dish Towel Exchange though. Hopefully you will try again at some point! I'm sure you'll have a much better experience!

Some partners with the apron exchange did not pull through. Maybe you should make a list of those who have positive feedback and those who have negative feedback for future exchanges. I know I will not participate in another exchange due to my partner not pulling through and not answering my messages.

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
