Between work, kids' activities, etc., it seems like we're always in a rush to make dinner. Anyone have any great (and healthy!) dinner ideas that take about 15 minutes to pull together?

You could also do a quick  Chicken Alfredo. Cook some chicken. Then add Cheese and the sauce. Maybe even Spagetti Or soup. Or You could also make some quick sandwhichs On rolls and put what ever you like on them on them and then add some chips or coldslaw Something simple.

Another idea that helps make dinner fast.....pre cooked canned chicken, like the tuna in a can, but the chicken cans are bigger (plus get a pack of 8 at costco). Makes for fast easy tacos, quesadillas, even simply add it to ramen noodles for a REAL quick meal. So many things you can do with it. I ALWAYS season the chicken if we are having tacos, burritos or quesadillas though or it'll be pretty bland. you can also get pre cooked beef in the same cans. I have even used both in slow cooker recipes. Makes my life easier when I need it

I like to make burritos.  I use about 2lb of ground beef so I can freeze leftovers.  I brown the beef then add a jar of pace salsa and a bag of mexican cheese.  I have a better version of it too but use this one if its a quick meal.  The other one I make my own salsa and add that and then I add a tub of pico di gallo to it and the bag of cheese.  If we are feeling really fancy then we grill some peppers to go with it.  This is one of our favorite dinners.

We do quesadillas fairly often.  I keep cooked chicken in my freezer so all I have to do is defrost, spread it on a few tortillas with refried beans and / or peppers and brown in a non-stick skillet.  I brush one side of the tortilla with oil or butter and thats enough for both sides.  10 minutes max

I think almost everyone knows this one.  Make box of macaroni and cheese, add one can cream of mushroom soup and one drained can of tuna easy good and kids love it.

the ham and cheese is great after church and Sunday dinner when we got home from grandmas my mom made them in the oven with a hamburger bun slice or two of ham (lunchmeat) and a slice of cheese she wrapped them in foil and put in heated 350 oven for short time like 5 minutes.  The bread is slightly toasted and it is a real comfort food with tomato soup.

What about pasta? I make cold sesame noodles with red peppers and carrots. I cut the veggies in the food processor and blend up the sauce (peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic) in the blender while the water boils and the noodles cook. You can even put in some pieces of rotisserie chicken if you've got it. Dinner on your plate in 20 minutes, tops (less if you have a high-BTU burner!).

These are some great ideas to add to my repertoire. We've been doing super-fast tacos or veggie burgers when we're in a pinch, but it's nice to try something new. Thanks!

Simple grilled ham and grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. Through in some grapes or sliced apples and voila! This is a staple at our house. Sometimes we through the ham (diced) into the soup instead of on the sandwich.

Q. Every Thanksgiving we would have a cauliflower and pimento cheese cassarole. I just love it but, somewhere the recipe got lost. Anybody ever had this and knows a good recipe?
