How often do you cook dinner at home?

My husband and I both love to cook (our group is Couples Who Cook Together). Currently, we cook at home five to six nights a week. We make recipes from our fave food sites (Mixing Bowl tops that list of course!), and we dream up new dishes to try. Recently we've started experimenting with cooking Indian food; so far, our efforts are good but not quite as good as the takeout we get from our favorite Indian restaurant (Bukkara) here in the city. What about you? How often to you cook dinner at home, and what do you like to make?

Yes I do cook 7 days a week.  Sometimes we cook together and other times he runs out of the kitchen as fast as he can LOL.  I am part Hungarian and the other half is Polish.  So the recipes I was taught are fattening but ohhhhhhh so darn good!!  So if you share some of your ethnic recipes and this I feel would be so much fun!!!  my husband can make ANYTHING with Peanut Butter....give him a big jar of this and he is good to go LOL  and very inventive I must say.

I cook 5 to 7 days a week.  Good thing  I like to cook.  I like all kinds  of food.  Like to try new recipes. Everyone is busy but if you try their are meals that can be made in 30 minutes.  Nothing wrong with soup and sandwich.

I cook five nights a week. We usually go out to dinner on Saturday, and we eat dinner and my Mom and Dad's on Sunday! That lets me cook all day on Sunday, then relax in the evening! I do all my prep work and casseroles on Sunday. Plus typically most of my baking, depending on the rest of the weekend.

I cook 6-7 nights a week. and we usually have breakfast at home and lunch from home as well. My family has their favorites like homemade mac-n-cheese, chicken soup, baked chicken, etc but I try to make 1 new recipe a week.  With 3 small children who are picky eaters at home, it is often my husband and I who like the new things.  I am always looking for new, picky-kid friendly recipes!

I cook at home every day of the week for breakfast and dinner and usually take my lunch from leftovers. I love to cook all cusines and being diabetic, it's important that I know what ingredients are used for each dish. By doing this, there are no surprises when I check my blood sugar three times a day. I don't have a lot of the complications associated with having diabetes, even though I was diagnosed over 22 years ago.

We try to cook at home at least five to six times a week—though with our busy schedules, we often tend more toward the five times a week side. I really enjoy cooking, and it does help us save money as well. With two young kids, going out to eat can be a pretty big hassle...we often end up getting takeout if dinner just isn't happening.

I cook at home every day of the week.  With the economy the way it is, it is cheaper for us to eat at home and I would rather have my own cooking then go out.  We will go out for special occasions, but I much prefer to stay home.  I make a variety of foods, from lasagna to spicy rice skillet.  My family loves all types of food, so I don't really have any restrictions.

Unless we are out I cook every night. Have been trying lots of new recipes from Mixing Bowl. Lunch is usually our big meal of the day and dinner is usually light. Since we are both retired we don't like to go to bed with a big meal on our stomachs.  We usually have soup and sandwich or we like to have breakfast at night (omelets). G doesn't cook, but he can fix a mean bowl of canned soup!
