Hi to all the mixers,

I was going through my recipes the other day, I have them in book form, newspaper clppings,in envelopes and every where else in drawers between books and so on.  I have collected a lot of cobbler recipes which I love because for me as I have told some of you I am a cook and not a baker but yet I can make a MEAN cobbler .  I was thinking of starting a new group "COBBLER CREATIONS" and I wanted to know what all of you thought about this idea for a new group. I know there are alot of groups dedicated to sweets and desserts and pies and cakes and on & on but nothing for cobblers.

What does every one think????

ChefNina

P.S. By the way Cobblers made anyway not just for desserts

I, too, love a good cobbler. Have a wonderful recipe for cherry cobbler from "Underwood's Barbeque" restaurant that was "the place to eat" here in Lubbock, Texas, from early 1950's til sometime in the 80's.  When Underwood's was mentioned, the cherry cobbler was second sentence! Count me in on this group. Let's get it going!

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
