I make this amazing cheddar-broccoli soup that's out of this world (and not too high in calories, either, since the base is a lot of potatoes and carrots). I'll definitely have to drag out the recipe to share with you guys!

Yes, homemade vegetable soup. I make a big batch and freeze what is left over. Gosh, I am getting hungry.

Home made chicken noodle soup with home made egg noodles and crusty bread.....this is my fav in the chilly weather.  I've already gotten requests for it from the kids who want it for the next Sunday dinner at Mom's house.  The grandkids love it too.  I also love to make hot mulled cider in the crock pot and sip it while reading a good book by the fire....it just doesn't get better than that!  Then again, that loaded baked potato soup is sounding real good too...I'm gonna have to check that recipe out!

That is exactly what I was searching for today.  That loaded baked potato soup sounds great!  please do share.  I was looking for a stew using beef stew cubes, chili for my hubby and some new soups.  I have a Taco Soup recip that I make every winter.

I'm with you on slow cooker recipes and soups.  Especially when the weather starts getting cold. Snuggle up

with a nice bowl of soup or stew.  What could be more satisfying? I want the loaded baked potato soup right

now.  Is it posted?

My favorite is Loaded Baked Potato soup, for the obvious reasons!  I recently tried a Potato Leek soup recipe from an old magazine that was great.  My husband said he didn't like vegetable soup until I made my Vegetable Beef Barley Soup.  Then there are the old stand-bys Beef Stew, Chili, and Chicken noodle (or dumpling) soup.  Boy, that all sounds good.  Time to check the pantry and start some for supper!  YUM!!

YES!!!  I'm already starting to think about stew!!  My husband is the better cook (the dump, stir, and taste kind!) and he makes a beef stew to die for.  It has beef broth in it, along with the usual beef stew ingredients, but I don't remember the seasoning.  We got the recipe off of a freebie calendar from Pillsbury, I think.  Maybe someone else has the recipe from the calendar - I don't know where mine is!  It's excellent.
