Melt in your mouth chocolate chip and toffee bit cookies with a drizzle of peanut butter on top.

 

Servings:         yield: 3 dozen

Prep time:       15 minutes

Cook time:      8-11 minutes

Total time:       23-26 minutes

 

Ingredients:

Cookies:
1/2 c butter(melted)
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
6 oz mini chocolate chips
6 oz toffee bits

Drizzle:
1/3 c creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp butter

 

Directions:

1. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add to creamed mixture, mix well.
5. Stir in chocolate chips and toffee bits, stir well.
6. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
7. Bake on 350 degrees, 8-11 minutes or until lightly brown.
8. Cool on baking rack.
9. In small micowavable bowl, melt peanut butter and butter.
10. Stir well and drizzle on cookies. Enjoy!

I am a baker and these turned our horrible.  I did not melt the butter as directed and they still came out flat as a pancake.  I would increase the amount of flour and cut back on the sugars slightly.

Seriously....just reading the title of this cookie is making my mouth water. They sound AMAZING. I can't wait to try them. You should look into selling your baked treats on Etsy!
