Spice up your favorite natural hot cider beverage

Servings:         Serves about 5.

Prep time:       About 5 minutes

Cook time:      Depending on your cooking method, about 10 minutes.

Total time:       Approximately 15 minutes

Ingredients:

Natural Apple Cider, unfiltered is best.
One (7oz.box) Box of RED HOTS candy. The original Ferrara Pan round ones are best. Do not use the gummy ones.

Directions:

If you have a coffee urn or perculator is best. Otherwise, you can heat your cider on the stove using a sauce pan. Before heating your cider as you normally would, you first need to add the RED HOTS where you would normally put your coffee or flavorings for your cider. For the stove method, begin heating your cider, then add your RED HOTS. Stir until cider is hot and candy has dissolved. You will need to adjust the candy to your liking, however for every quart of cider, I use 1/3 cup of RED HOTS. You can double or triple the recipe. Enjoy!

My family and I absolutely love the Fall and Winter weather, and what better than a nice hot beverage to sip on.  We love the spicy flavor of our Red Hot Cider.  It is so simple only two ingredients and it adds alot of flavor to the cider.

    Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
