Very very different for sure. I think my hubs would like it, not me sorry :( I only like PB on very fresh white bread with grape jelly or cherry preserves. However, the hubs likes it on oatmeal and all kinds of things. So, I thank you! :)

I tried Angel's Breakfast Sandwich this morning. I toasted whole grain bread

added the peanut butter and turkey bacon. It was tasty.  My dogs got to lick

the peanut butter off the knife and they were happy too. Plus a little taste of

my turkey bacon.  Try this its pretty good.

LOL!!!  This is how I always eat toast and baccon, with one addition. I want a soft yolked egg to dip it into, and  I clean my plate with it!  I always save a bit of toast and baccon for the last bite!  Yummy!! The perfect breakfast!!

We've been eating peanutbutter, bacon on toast for years.  Mother is 78 and fed it to us as kids!  It's yummy....try it with raisin bread toasted as well...salty and sweet!

I like your dad's idea Angel.  I think I will try turkey bacon since that is what I

have in my refrigerator.  I use whole grain bread and I think this will be nice for breakfast. Peanut butter is very healthy too.

Ya got to admit it's definitely different, but it's also true that you can't knock it til ya try it! I love bacon & peanut butter, so next time I fix bacon, I'll give this a try. I'm a peanut butter fanatic, so there's always some in the house!! Thanks for posting this! It's great when something like this is associated with wonderful memories, too! Sounds like you have a great Dad, Angel!

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
