I just got this the other day at a farm stand.  It is chartreuse in color...it actually looks like it has been spray-painted because it is so fluorescent looking.  Just an amazing looking vegetable, so I had to share how unique and beautiful it is.

Confectionately,

Dorothy

I agree with Zendi. This would make a neat decoration, maybe for Christmas with the green color. Don't think I will  be fixing this anytime soon. Interesting though.

I have yet to find it anywhere that I have been since you first posted the picture Dorothy.  I am not laughing at you for not cooking it.

Q. Just joined and, already, love this site! I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a group for singles, like myself. After a lifetime of cooking in large "family" quantities; I found myself really challenged after becoming widowed. I've learned a few tricks about buying, storing, and cooking food for one and would like to hear from others on the subject.
