I made this for my Boy Friends mom who is Russian. Its one of the little nesting dolls, Her head covering is made of White Chocolate Modeling paste and all the detail on her is hand painted. I made the gold accent with real powdered gold and printed the birthday greeting on edible paper.

He had helped me with painting the tips of the flowers in gold so this is a partial colaboration cake....see love I'm giving you some credit . I loved this cake, I was told by another Russian that only Russians can make Matryoshkas and its a very hard art that others just cant do.....she never said another word about what I can and cannot do after she saw this .
