Some non-meat dishes contain Worcestershire Sauce, which  normally contain anchovy.  I searched for a vegan worcestershire sauce.  found this product.  I do not know where it can be purchased locally.  The website is http://www.shoporganic.com/product/annies_naturals_worcestershire_sauce/sauces

Thanks Lee.  It is good to have an alternative.  A picture helps you know what you are looking for.   Alice

I use this!  I buy it at Whole Foods- at my store, it's located in the section with the condiments and salad dressings.  While sometimes omitting the Worcestershire sauce is fine, other times the added flavor is really nice.

I thought this would be an alternative to omitting worchester sauce in a recipe
